POP N GO Completes Successful Launch of California
Schools Revenue Share Program
Whittier, CA-Pop N Go, Inc. (OTCBB:POPN) announced today that it
had completed its Phase One Installations with the deployment of 12 of
its patented hot air popcorn vending machines into Southern California
high schools and middle schools during the last 2 weeks in January. Pop
N Go had previously announced it would install 10 machines in January in
conjunction with Go-Boys International, its revenue share partner, and
that an additional 20 machines would be installed in February.
“Schools have been delighted with the quality of the popcorn and the
performance and reliability of the machines. Machines, typically 2 per
school, have been placed where the faculty, administrative staff and
students can purchase popcorn. The combination of a healthy snack
vending machine which provides a new revenue stream for cash starved
schools delivered on a turn- key basis with no capital investment is
very exciting to our school customer base. Sales have exceeded our
initial projections. In fact, one high school’s machines required
restocking after the first two days of being on the campus. The word is
spreading fast and we are getting unsolicited calls from schools wanting
machines installed as soon as possible. We have been especially pleased
with the timely performance of Pop N Go in meeting our installation
schedule requirements. Pop N Go’s administrative and technical staff
have been top notch. We were able to complete all of our January
installations on time despite record rains in the area. It’s rare to
find a Company that is as dedicated to their product as is Pop N Go.
Based on the early reception of Pop N Go’s machines among school
administrators and students, we remain confident that we will have a
demand for at least 2000 machines in 2008,”said Bob Moulton, President
of Go-Boys.
“We are pleased to be working with Bob Moulton and Go-Boys as we
continue the rollout into California schools. Bob has the respect of and
a great working relationship with school administrators who appreciate
the opportunity he is offering them to introduce a healthy snack product
and generate a significant revenue stream at the same time.” stated Mel
Wyman, Pop N Go’s CEO.
